WHY SPLISHY SPLASH?

Hi Everybody,

A brush, a canvas and a passion for creativity.   

 “I found myself waking up at 4 a.m. every day and discovered that art as a new hobby works well with my coffee. ” 

I have expressed  my inspiration, my passion and my hope to make a difference through my art.  

Well,  this blog is about my journey - -good , bad and indifferent --towards becoming a better artist, mom and wife.

In this journal, I will be revisiting who I was and the path I took to get to where I am today.   We will start at the beginning with me as a single mom, how I raised three lovely daughters who are now professionals - a nurse , an engineer and corporate manager - - leading up to where we are today.

As I look back, I will be presenting my experience focused on 5 building blocks that I practice  then and now.

I am not a writer so we we'll  keep  things simple . One thing I know...I want to get to know more about myself in the process.

Belle Roth explores human interconnection through her use of color, light, and architectural influences. Roth's compositions are rooted in abstraction; deconstructed forms are unearthed and highlighted by both line and shape that coincide with shimmering gold, neutral color fields, and vibrant accent hues.

In Roth’s Memphis, Tennessee studio, process and media are fortified by 20th-century abstract expressionist vernacular, and impressions from her Philippines upbringing, travels, and interactions with diverse cultures. Roth varies structures of golden noble metals and contrasting black that symbolize memories of the class divide she witnessed. 

Busy with work and travel in her global market development role for a multinational company, and with supporting her husband Jeff’s charitable endeavors and commitments, Roth made time to indulge her creative side. 

Belle is represented in galleries in New York and key cities in Europe
